Clark Forklift Specifications
Types
Clark makes a range of forklift trucks like cushion trucks, narrow aisles and pneumatic trucks. The different types differ in terms of the way they are powered. Like for instance, heavy-duty forklifts used for agriculture and construction run on an internal combustion or IC engine. Narrow aisle kinds designed to be used in warehouses and other confined spaces run on rechargeable battery.
Lifting Capacity
Based on the kind of Clark forklift trucks, the lifting capacity could vary. Forklifts that are battery-powered have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, which depends on the model. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion or IC models are suggested. They can carry from 1400-8000 kilograms.
Engine
Clark electrically-powered forklift trucks operate on AC battery cells, either 36 volt or 48 volt. The internal combustion or IC engine models have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC models have automatic transmission with three-speed, two-speed and single-speed types.
Frame/Cab
The center of the forklift is the frame/cab assembly. This consists of the operator's overhead protective cover, the controls and the seat. The frame consist of the engine, fuel tank, wheels, transmission and trans-axle.
